We have some exciting news!

The OPMD Association is one of five recipients of a Muscular Dystrophy Association Advocacy Collaboration Grant. This grant funds the OPMD Association Community Survey Project which surveys members of the OPMD Community to gain greater understanding of the community and to develop advocacy initiatives which empower people with OPMD to live longer, more independent lives. We are very grateful to the MDA for this opportunity.

The OPMD Association’s Mission is to advocate for and serve people affected with Oculopharyngeal Muscular Dystrophy (OPMD) by providing education, resources, and programs and by creating partnerships with research institutions and corporations, to discover treatments and a cure for OPMD.
